Hand brake and gear lever gater

Morning all,
Im coming to the end of my body off rebuild and have the two leather gaters
For gear lever and hand brake. One is much bigger than the other, is the larger of the two for
The gear lever or hand brake? They fit either way but the larger of the two causes problems with
Both gear lever or hand brake depending where fitted (like its too big)
Any one tell me which is which please?

Seem to remember the larger one being for the gear lever as it tucks under the console covering whats underneath it.

Yep big one is for the gear lever. If its too flabby underneath just trim it to make it sit neatly.
