Whats this on the 360 keyring?
Discussion
The leather covered thing is the unit for disengaging the immobilser. I prefer the story that it's for holding the drivers' cock ring, naturally. Might be a bit off-putting come resale though.
That isn't a Stradale key ring- I thought it was too, but I just checked and my key has an inlaid scuderia shield, not a silver cavallino. That's a Modena key that has been repainted. There was a guy on FerrariChat a couple of years ago who posted how to do it. Looks far better than OEM, and probably a lot more durable too.

Big T,
32,000 kilometers in 2 years aint bad mate...
Thats' 10,000 miles a year!
Speaking of not using when was the last time you came out to play? Essex run after Essex run but no sign of
the only 360 with hairdresser's spec...
How are you mate? Things ok with erm.. what's his name again? Ramon.. that's it - sorry had forgotten.
Kev, you're right - didn't look properly. I thought about having this done as the paint on my keys is wearing off - too much hard use!
Been a while - see you soon on a run when weather improves..

I'd love to know how to repaint the keys, mine looks shagged out, covered in chips after just over a year!
It's on here, though when I checked the link, FChat had a problem with their database: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1541
Edited to add the instructions themselves. Results look just like the key Rico posted. Courtesy of CWWHK:
After reading this thread, I was inspired to paint my 360's key red myself. Easy and looks great. All you got to do is carefully pry off the silver Cavellino from key. I used a small precision screw driver to do this. Picking gently at the thick part like the neck, not the tail. Popped right off.
Now tape the key teeth with masking tape. Sand silver OEM painted area with 800 grid wed & dry sand paper.
Sprayed 4 light coats of red (I just used spray cans from local hardware store). Color matched better than 90%. Then sprayed 2 coats of clear (again spray can). For durability I baked the paint with regular oven set at 100 C for 30 minutes. Wife didn't like that very much.
Then glued the silver Cavellino back with clear contact cement.
Took me an hour and cost $10. Could have sprayed with my airbrush with proper PPG Rosso Corsa red, but for such a small item didn't need to fire up the air compressor.
And it looks sharp. Turned out much better than I expected.

Yeah... Rob's server got fubarred in a bit of downtime... lost all the images prior to the crash. He's trying to get it sorted but no-one's crossing fingers... He only had uploads to keep FChat as a database of Ferrari info... that idea is a bit screwed now
Still the ultimate resource for anything Fez
