Sat reading my mag whilst watching Best of Top Gear last night - £1500 Porsche review. Turned to the back of the mag to see what you could actually buy for £1500 and lo and behold Hammond's 924 is for sale in there for £1200!
Advert says 'Stripped interior, ideal for trackdays'!!
Did someone actually buy this after filming or are Hammond/BBC optimistically trying to recoup it's expenditure?

Adverts in 911 and Porsche World take a really long time to get published, so I guess the ad was placed around the time of filming. The photo in the advert is the same as the one they used on e-bay when trying to sell the car a couple of months ago.
Last I read some chap on the Porsche Club GB forum had bought it.
Stripped for racing indeed, who ever heard of a race car with a 2ft by 2 ft pop out glass sun roof!
