mayo on oil filler cap?

topped up the oil on my 996 at weekend. found yellow mush at top of filler pipe and on filler cap. how bad is it?

It might be nothing, just condensation.

Check coolant level regularly and see if it's going down; if head gasket problem that will be a good indication.

At this time of the year it's easy to panic as exhausts can steam a lot and condensation can be found in oil pipes etc.

So don't worry too much yet
