I think it's got a 3.9 in it. He's had it for quite a time, but is only just getting insurance on it. His mate has got a 635CSI as well.

I had one, when they were current. XKK ...S (can't remember the middle bit). There's no point googling to see if it still exists, as it only lasted 5 weeks. I guess that going from a 41bhp 1100 Escort to a 136bhp SD1 was a recipe for disaster. redface

Though I did once have a Clio that lasted less than a week. Left foot braking and a curb don't mix...

I had a Midas gold SD1 V8 when I was 19. It was a family heirloom, originally bought new by my Dad. I remember going with him to the Rover dealer to pick it up. Lovely car and I still miss it. YPG 548T. Gone but not forgotten.
