I have agreed to take reportage type shots for my brother-in-laws wedding. For the types of shots required I will need to hire some equipment. Does anyone know of anywhere in South Bucks region that will hire our DSLR, lenses, flash guns and poss portable studio equipment. At present I have a 300D and am thinking of getting a 20D as a second body as I feel this is a must with sods law being what it is. I can then sell the 300D after the wedding.
Thankfully he is having a professional photographer for a few formal shots but wants the feel of the reception and merryment to be less formally recorded.

I've been doing some digging on this today, try:

www.calumetphoto.com/ - place in SW6
www.fixationuk.com/rentlist.htm - in SW8, list 20D as rentable (and the 1Ds too ;-) )

I have used Fixation to rent some gear before.

Upsides;
1. Professional outfit - know what you're talking about
2. Kit is fully functioning
3. Prices are OK, but don't forget to add the dreaded VAT

Downsides;
1. Can be a bit of a bu**er to get to to pick kit up and drop off again.

Overall I'd say pretty good outfit. Also very useful if you want to try something expensive before getting a second hand version.

Chris
2. Kit is mainly used by Pros and it gets a very hard life
