Convoy meet points- National Meet

Hi all,

I thought I should post up meet points for the people travelling to the National meet from the south, seeing as it's in a week's time

The meet point for people travelling up the A1 will be Scotch Corner services (on the A1M, at the junction for the A66). Moif will be here @ 12pm, aiming to leave at 12.15pm.

The second (main) meet point will be at Todhills Services (northbound, obvs ), just north of Junction 44 (Carlisle) of the M6. Post code is CA6 4HA. I will be here from 1.30pm. We will aim to leave here at 2.30pm, to give an ETA at Stirling of 4pm.

Mike I think there are major roadworks on the A1 at Scotch Corner or thereabouts. Not sure which way I'll be going yet but might go M1 instead.

I'll check with Moif and see what whether he wants to change the meet point.

The M1 only goes as far as Leeds and then becomes the A1 so it wont matter,there is road works but them average cameras ones so it keeps moving

All depends on what time you will be going through vince

Can't comment on the road works, but will meet you all at scotch corner.

Will get in touch with Leigh1050 and arrange a meeting point further down near Doncaster on his drive up from darn sarth

Leaving home around 10 it's 4 and a half hours to Scotch corner so I'm not going to be there at 12.

Depends on what time you leave m8.It only takes me 4hrs 20min to get to gateshead/newcastle

I'll hang back and wait for you Leigh. I'll meet you at Ferry Bridge services, post code is WF11 0AF.

Give me a buzz when you get close to Doncaster so I know when to set off.

That means we'll get to the hotel probably nearer to 6pm, which is perfect timing for beer!

If anyone else wants to hang on a couple of hours before getting to Scotch Corner then we could stop there and pick you up?

Should be ok to make Todhills meetup but will update the thread before I leave on Saturday to 100% confirm
