Had the cerbera 14 years but this is a new one on me. Press black start button on and battery light comes on as usual, press blipper but no MIL light so no ignition. Blipper works fine to enable and disable the alarm. Any thought appreciated.

Do you hear the fuel pump prime? I'd suspect the immobiliser.

No fuel pump noise, will look at immobiliser, do you know where it is located, helmet hole or boot?

Are you sure you've not knocked the key slightly?

I had similar a couple of weeks ago when I accidentally caught the key when opening/locking the bonnet.

Check the silver key. If a wire comes off the back of that (or it gets inadvertently turned off) it will have those symptoms.

The other thing to try is manually disarming the immobiliser using the slot in the cubby under the radio.

Silver key working ok, is in correct position. I had new fobs done a few years ago by Carl so don't have the manual immobiliser tab to fit in cubby hole. Will investigate further.

Cleaned every connector, checked every fuse but nothing so after talking with Carl Baker have booked his last slot for a new system. Just a quick 250 miles to Kent. I offered to take the Wife for a nice "weekend away" but her reply was "will we get there" so taking my son instead to visit the Historic Dock at Chatham.
