I'm going out of my mind!!!!!!!!!!!
Discussion
Had a second interview on friday morning for a job I want more than is healthy. I was unable to contact my agency on friday to give them my feedback (they are a two man band and one of them's sick), but managed to speak to them at 9.15 this morning.
They said that I must be on tenderhooks (no sh1t) and they'd call the company concerned to find out.........and still I'm waiting.
WHY ARE THEY SO RUBBISH?!
I know they're probably busy, and I'm just being impatient, but I'm going mad.
Rant over.....

Harsh stuff.
The start date is next monday, so hopefuly I should hear in the next day or two.
I used to work for a media sales company in farringdon that used to regularly hold group interviews (20 people at a time) only to keep them waiting for a fortnight before blowing them all out. I think they used to do it partly for kicks, and because turnover was quite high.
I think it's rude to mess people about and/or keep them waiting for so long, but not everyone has the same morals.

I start a new job next Monday but had to wait 6 weeks after the interview to find out that I'd got it! The firm announced a major cost cutting exercise the very day I interviewed so the budget had to be signed off by, er, God I think!
Anyway, chin up, no news can be good news...
Thanks Chris.
Still no news - called the agency again at half one as they hadn't called me back from 9.30, only to be told they were about to interview someone so they'd have to call me back.
I'm beginning to think they (or rather, he)haven't even called for feedback from the company.
Patience is a virtue........

Update - just heard from the agency.......
Won't get a decision until late tomorrow as there are still candidates going forward. The company wants to let everyone know at the same time. They have told my agency that they aren't interested in 2 others, so I am apparently still in the running.
Damn the suspense!

Found out four pints ago that I didn't get the job.
By e-mail.
Guess which agency I won't be using any more......
The most annoying thing is that the company I was interviewed by said they loved me after my first interview, but then cited 'reservations' they had which were based on information they got during the first interview. WTF?!? They also have based their decision on stuff which isn't true, like that "almost every job that I have resigned from, I have done so with nothing to go to". So being made redundant counts as resigning? And that was one job out of seven!

Less than "gruntled" with some of these people myself!
I missed out on a nice job that I've been waiting on for three weeks. Missed out by a whisker, from what I can gather, and have a hunch that I was instrumental in pricing myself out of the running.
However, I would have expected the so called "agency" to have some idea and feedback. But no! Weren't even prepared to go back and ask pertinent questions. so that's not at all helpfull is it
