after buying a written off S1 and rebuilding over 5 years (was supposed to be 2 but injury and lack of enthusiasm caused the delay) I drove it for 60 miles, I need miles as it is going to Spa on Thursday!!

No dramas , runs about 90 deg until stopped in traffic it the climbs to 110 before the fans cut in (I now manually over-ride before then)
very few clunks and growns = mainly my seat squeaking against the roll cage.

Drove down to see the chap who is co-driving to Belgium (his first view and a little run out)

More finishing off required

All tucked up in the garage

Been told it sound Awesome - that's modern kids for you

too far to Calais - will see you at lunchtime on the run to Spa

didn't want to put the best part of 700 motorway miles on in the UK

Going Hull - Zeebrugge then down to Chimay and meet the S clan

Mick,

Are you on the Thursday night Hull ferry? If so might see you there, probably be sampling a few beers in one of the bars.
