Hi,

Just looking at purchasing a Ferrari 360 from a offical dealer abroad and were wondering what sort of percentage discount you have managed to negotiate or do they tend to stick to the advertised prices. I appreciate they work differently aboard and the weak Euro may work to my advantage.
Also what is the standard warranty period 1 or 2 years?

Thanks

Chris

Hi I can only say i bought a scud from a ferrari main dealer and the car was up for 124K euros and got it for 112K euros, saving of 12K euros. I offered to pay cash on arrival if the car was accurate and correct. 10% and got 1 year ferrari power warrenty in with it too.

Standard warranty is 2 years, if it's an SOR car could be less or even nothing, all depends on the deal I supppose

Do official dealers do SOR, I know independents do?

They definitely do. I looked at 3 similar cars recently - 2 of which were SOR with a well known Central London dealer.

I guess if the car is known to the supplying dealer and the accompanying warranty is identical (perhaps even extended) as if the car was their own stock, then there should not really be any problems.
