Front exhaust mount

Hi was just wondering if people bother with the front mounting that bolts into the engine block? And if you do, do you use a flexi strap or such like?
Mine was snapped so never been on since I got the car but I managed to get the snapped bolt out this morning (it was very very tight)

Always bolted on mine.

I don't have a flexi pipe either.

The exhaust is bolted firmly to the Y piece and block.

Movement in the engine mounts is taken up by the rubber mounts on the silencer mounting rubbers.

This ^ I have always used one with a little bit of thread lock, I would always fit it to be honest

MY JE pipe has not got a mount and never has had one
