Come on lads, lets make a young chap a happy fella. This is a joint meet with VXRO after a dad requested a passenger ride for his son on Vectra-c.com.

My autistic son is 11 years old next week and has suddenly decided he LOVES cars, especially super cars of course (Mclaren P1 apparently being his "top car" ), but also has decided he loves fast, powerful cars and in particular the VXR8.

What I'm wondering/hoping is if there is someone/anyone on here who happens to own a VXR8 or other high performance car/American muscle car who would fancy making a young lads day by taking him out for a spin in one of his "dream" cars.

I'm not in a financial position to pay much if anything, but will happily cover some fuel costs and of course we'll lay on food and drink for anyone who did too as we always do anyway.

As I say, I know I'm taking the pee a bit, but if you don't ask, you don't get, anyone?

Things, as ever, turned this from a passenger ride into one of the HSV communities favourite events. A meet at a pub. So on Saturday 13th June, we have permission from the Landlord @ The Red Lion Inn in Stretham to have a meet. Postcode is CB6 3LD. Please arrive by 12, so we can all be there to greet the lad when he gets driven over

Ian, is that the one at Cobham on the hill just as the M2 becomes the A2? Sounds perfect.
