So I recently bought this: Aston Martin DB9 V8V 2005 2008 Genuine Carbon Fibre Dashboard Manual Trans | eBay but I've had a few issues. At first I thought I'd need to buy this kit ( http://astonmartinbits.com/models/5-V8-Vantage/par...). But there are several differences between mine and bleens (as his is an 09+ fascia). I tried putting the bracket on the back back of my OE nav screen cover on the new screen cover but it doesn't fit. Bleen's and my OE one has a space in the middle for the bracket to fit, and the new one does not have that.

After looking around for a bit, I think I found the part I'd need to attach the hinges to the main piece at least (part 4G43-10E991-AE/AD, see this ebay listing for a picture http://www.ebay.com/itm/ASTON-MARTIN-VANTAGE-NAVIG...), but I've never even seen any piece like this before. I've gone through tons of parts catalogues (see the first photo in the album below) and nothing looks like it's what I need for the back of the nav cover.

Here is the album. http://imgur.com/a/h5eo1. No mention of the 10E991 part either, so I'm wondering how I can go about finding the right parts. As I said I found the part that will put the hinges on the main piece, but I can't find what part I need to go behind the nav cover...

anyone have a clue here?

Thank you for the suggestion. If I can't figure things out in the next few days I may very well give him a ring...
