997 GTS, 991 50th Edition, etc
Discussion
Me neither; they are special editions but not GT cars. However, it is important to compare like for like as sometimes it's quite difficult to find a perfect Carrera S.
For example, i'm not sure a 997.2 (non GTS) with a Power Kit even exists! I've never seen one on the market and the only cars i've seen with ceramics or Recaro buckets have again been GTS models.

The GTS is extremely fettled over a standard Carrerra, it's the best driving non GT 997. The 50 year cars are wide bodied and have enough unique features (interior and exterior) to really make them a sweet looking car. Personally choice wether you think they are worth a premium over the standard cars, but I think they are.
I've just bought a 991 GTS and it is a much better product than a standard 2S. Wide body, tweaked suspension, decent standard kit, bespoke external features, centre lock wheel, alcantara interior.

Sure, but my point is that the size of the premium is huge now compared to its size at the time of first sale. I suppose that either bodes well for the future or shows that OPCs know how much we like a newish special.
Good point re the bits that cannot be obtained on normal S cars - the Powerkit seems to have been completely overlooked by buyers for the last few years, which is bonkers given what it (apparently) does to the power and torque curves. 30bhp is neither here nor there, but it gives the car a much nicer shape to its power delivery (on paper).
