I know they're probably not the staple diet of the upper class on here, but has anyone tried these things? Holy st they catch you by surprise. Guess that's why they call it roulette.

Oh there we go, I need a drink now.

It's more that they catch you out and catch the back of your throat than the actual heat of them.

They're banned in the US apparently, not sure why? Yes they're hot, but I've had hotter Indian meals.

I was going to say the Chilli Heatwave Doritos whilst spicy really aren't that hot, but having Googled the Doritos Roulette the spicy ones in there sound like a different beast. Will have to try biggrin

Yep, the roulette is definitely hotter than the standard chilli heatwave. Shared a pack with some mates before watching the fight the other week, at one point the three of us started coughing at once.

As above they aren’t hot, per se, they just somehow catch out the back of your throat. Nice though.

Really didn't enjoy these - seriously hot without tasting of chilli! Was worth having some just to watch a few non chilli lovers struggling to cope when they got a hot one

Definitely give them a go, I got addicted to finding the hot ones so I could feel how spicy they were again, managed to go through a full pack at lunch time hehe

I liked them. It's about time a large producer like Walkers made something hot.

I ate a bag of these the other night and either had a dud bag with no hot ones or they were disappointingly mild.

I was quite drunk though

Can you buy a bag of just the hot ones?

I don't like cheese Doritos but love the Heatwave.

The hot ones are the Jalapeno Fire variety, no? The ones in a black bag?

No, they're not Jalapeno Fire or Chilli Heatwave. I've had a bag of the Doritos Roulette, I wasn't that impressed tbh. It was pleasantly hot, certainly hotter than I expected from a mainstream crisp manufacturer (where "Flaming Hot" or words to that effect generally mean "mildly warm") but the hot crisps had no flavour, just heat.

The hot ones are most definitely not the Chilli Heatwave ones. I love the CH ones, but the ones in the "Roulette" pack are fking awful.

if we could get the chilli heatwave with the heat of the hot roullette ones that would be nice. the heatwave have flavour i like but lack heat whereas the roullette hot ones have heat but no flavour. i'll stick with the heatwave and a nice chilli sauce to dip into. nothing like a bit of trees cant dance pennine fire sauce or a bit of extra hot levi roots sauce.
