cant log into ph with internet explorer?

when i click the "log in " button to log in nothing happens on internet explorer, any ideas?

works fine on google chrome

We have tested it on several PCs here - but are struggling to reproduce it and all of them work fine.

We could do with some more detail on the version of IE you are using, if you can - click About Internet Explorer from the menu, and let me know exact version.

Also if there is anything else running on machine or plugins - e.g. password reminder tools, anti-virus etc.

it has microsoft security essentials running , no password reminders
