Busy planning a nice road trip to France for a week soon and pondering luggage options for the car. I'm looking to get some tailored luggage for the front and possibly also behind the passenger seat (passenger will be present!).

I want to naturally avoid the official Lamborghini option but get something decent quality at a reasonable price. I've struggled so far on my searches to find anything. Any recommendations out there?

Cheers,
Simon

unless you have that funny roll bar fitted, then two soft bags on the shelf behind the seats will accommodate more than the boot

the helpful chap down the shops was happy to experiment in order to get the largest possible bags that would fit

I've got the roll bar fitted so very limited space. My other half is fairly small so her seat position can be further forward giving some more space but that's about it.

Going to have to think creatively

My other half is wondering why I've got a cheeky grin on my face at the moment...

Get stuff sent out there?

We sent luggage ahead of us when doing a 2 week trip. Hotel was happy to post it back for us. Luggage wise soft bags work best in the boot, just stuff them in and get them pressed by the hotel if required.

Another vote for squishy bags.

Just measure up and head to the luggage department of your nearest department store. Two medium holdalls, two small holdalls and two suit bags for behind the seats. Job done.

Squishy bags do seem the way to go, will be going down that route. Like the idea of sending stuff in advance but staying in 4 hotels during the trip and I'm not that organised smile

Recently noticed the fitted luggage on this site; no idea of quality, but two bags for the boot and two for the rear shelf should be more than you'd need...

Personally, I just go for soft bags.

Thanks for the link to those people. Looking at them as an option but unfortunately we won't be able to get them in time for the trip.

So it's soft bags all the way for now :-)
