Need help on how to remove seat recliner plastic casing

Hi guys, i am trying to remove the seat recliner plastic casing ( Rosette ) on the drivers door side but worried about snapping it, i need to remove it as the leather which goes behind it has started to come out slightly, i have no problem with the lever in the middle as that just pulls out.
