That's the issue with tech and cars vs just owning a nice car with nice dampers and a manual with a real dif.

we have GT3 noobs stating PDK-s is not PDK and is faster etc etc, now the RS is faster again with shifts, the steerings been tweeked and it has wider front tyres to try and stop the 911 understeer which people see as a feature, but it's a flaw . so v 1 PDK-S is now outdated and seems slow, gen 1 electric steering seems nasty and the normal 991 GT3 now is just a has been with no outstanding features just out dated tech, no wonder 50 are for sale and prices are dropping.

The RS is now tech king, it has the front end people want, it has the new steering it has faster PDK and has the midrange only a 4.0 litre can give with those long gears and hi revs.

me, well i'll stick to just owning a nice car with nice dampers, a manual with a real dif, it is what it is :-)

The tech doesn't really bother me as long as it's fun to drive, that's the key for me. I already know the standard GT3 is great fun to drive having owned one, and it looks like the RS will be a hoot as well. For back to basics I have a 968 CS which I also really enjoy driving, but wouldn't say it's more fun per se, but that's just IMO.

key point there is you sold it, if it were that great you would not have, I cannot sell my car I love it too much.

cars with tech come and go, and things move on at a fast pace now. a car with no tech is what it is, and car with old tech is just outdated ;-(

Only sold it as getting an RS, otherwise would have kept it.
