Can anybody recommend an HDMI over Cat6 transmitter/receiver please? I looked at the Neet products but they don't seem to support 4K. I don't have any 4K content but want to future proof so need to cater for this now.

I haven't set a budget but there seems to be a huge variance in price ranging from a few quid to thousands! My main criteria is for it to be priced 'reasonably', eg a couple of hundred is fine but not wanting to spend £500 upwards. It needs to be 4K compliant and in an ideal world, utilise power over cable so I only need a power suppy at one end.

Any recommendations greatfully received!

Thanks

David

I bought some Cyp kit in the end. Significantly more expensive than Neet but not too bad overall and is futureproofed for now.

Sorry was out installing.

You made a good choice. My suggestions would have been CYP, HDAnywhere or newcomer, BlueStream.

Although giving that 4k is still a bit of a moving target anything is a bit of a punt at the moment.

What I would do is wire for 4k but leave buying the boxes until you actually want them. As is the way with all technological stuff, the price drops over time (and will probably perform better too).
