started taking photo's early last year and in the early days of not having a clue what i was doing i spent the day at Wings and Wheels last august.

long story short, ive got lots of shots of planes that i really like but in my lack of knowledge my shutter speed was far too fast. all my propellers are completely still.

is there a way either in LR or PS where i can add motion blur to make them look less sharp?

Elliptical marquee tool with small edge feather, select prop area, Filter > Blur > Radial Blur. At least that's what is in my version of Photoshop. Of course everything between the blades will be blurred too; sky won't matter but if it's other detial you could use the History brush carefully to restore them.

Thank you.

I'll have a play over the weekend. Still early days with photoshop tbh. I'm more confident with Lightroom but there's always a first time.
