Hi all

I have saab 93 tdi 2007 and need to change the blow plugs.

I'm not very mechanically minded by the price quoted by my garage is encouraging a spot of DIY!

Firstly, where are the blow plugs located?

Secondly any tips on removing them?

Thanks

Don't forget to change the spark plugs while you're at it.

They are easy to do.

Put penetrating oil on them for a couple of days before hand. Do it when the engine is warm.
Use a torque wrench to undo them. Look up the spec but off the top of my head I think the shear torque is 30Nm so set the wrench to 20Nm or so for the unfastening and go gently.
tightening torque is is only 10Nm or so I think.

Buy decent ones - they are used for the DPF regen and you dont want to bugger that up. Mine cost £12 each iirc.
