Image Posting

Hi Ted, in another post (can't find the bugger, always the way!) you mentioned that you might look at being able to post images directly into the forum.

Imageshack has a new service where a forum admin can allow the users to upload their pics directly into imageshack, the details are at www.imageshack.us/syndicate.php

I don't know if this is of any use but I thought it might prevent your storage and bandwidth requirements spiralling out of hand.

Weird - I've not touched that code for months. I know it's not perfect but it should still operate as it always has.

Probably some "dodgy" characters in the URL that the parser is having trouble with.

Post the url here with no pic tags & I'm sure we can edit it to work ok!

Imageshack is struggling to delivery pages currently which isn't a good sign.

I'll probably go for a system where PH hosts the pics but they are only visible to registered members.
