Oh feck, it's back... And it's fixed!
Discussion
Well, there go my evenings and weekends for the next few months. Not to mention my licence. The garage's only gone and sorted my car out for me.
The 3" scuffing on the rear has transformed into a full respray. Front to back. Bonnet. All the panels. The lot. Could've probably tried harder with the polish before taking it in and leaving it for 2 months, mind. Oh well!
And it's finally had the "S" conversion finished off... rear spoiler sprayed up and attached (and the front spoiler re-attached for that matter), to match the mechanical fettling it had courtesy of shot valve guides.
And those bl**dy awful Bridgestone tyres have been banished from the pointy end for good. And the heater now works properly. And all the rest.
After giving it a good hour of pottering round to let everything warm up and remember what it was there for following weeks of being sat around, I felt the need to test the change up lights. That red glare in 4th comes far, far too quickly. But at least it works...
As much as the beast from Blackpool tries my patience some times, there's nothing like making grown adults drop their shopping bags with fright outside Sainsburys. It might cause me more hassle than the Rover. Or the Pug. Or any other car. But I've really missed my baby. All the more so given that there's currently not one niggle with the entire car.
For now, damn any pain its put me through getting it sorted. Time to enjoy...

LOL...enjoy...what tyres did you go for in the end?
S03s are relegated to the rear. Their traction's not too bad; it was just the handling that bothered me, so I'll probably leave them there unless they cause any issues (need to wait till the roads get stickier to really see if they're any good in terms of traction when cornering).
F1 GSD3s have been taken off the rear and moved to the front (the benefit of running 255/35 all round

WE NEED PICTURES !
Would love to see the car now it has new point and the S kit, please oblige James ! ( Ok, Ok, I know its cold and dark outside - but one good piccy will suffice).
Spring is coming...
OK, OK. I'll get one sorted by the weekend. Just refuse to take a pic of it in the car park at work, and it's dark at all other times! Paint is looking more purpley now for the respray... first time the MOT has come back saying "purple" rather than "blue", too.

One thing I neglected to mention in my attempt to paint a nice rosy picture was that the first time I took the car up to serious triple figure speeds, the front spoiler didn't, erm, "accompany me" to those speeds. They can fly quite high in the air, though.

F1 GSD3s have been taken off the rear and moved to the front (the benefit of running 255/35 all round) Quite liking them so far. More precise steering (on initial turn in), cured all tramlining, seem to cope with the wet much better (although I've not been out in heavy rain yet), and generally more "stable". Need to see what they're like in seriously wet conditions before I decide whether to go for them again, or try the Toyo T1Rs (probably more likely, as I get very nervous while driving in the wet due to a couple of accidents in the past).
I have put 10000 miles on My T350 including 2 trackdays over the last 13 months in all weathers. It was supplied with the F1 GSD3's. These tyres are very good in the wet, they remain progressive and cope with standing water very well. Traction is OK but personally I don't think they have the ultimate cornering / braking grip of the S02 or T1-S on a dry track. That comparison being from Cerb to T350 though so not apples to apples and may be more to do with the chassis. On the plus side the rears have worn ~2mm in 10000 miles, I wore out S02's in 5k and T1-S in 10k on the Cerb....
