When are the interesting 4WD Alfa's coming out?

Will there be anything to rival the forthcoming twin turbo 3.2 R/S3 from Audi (supposedly 320+ bhp).

No idea. It's all rumours and speculation at the minute. Alfa's excellent permanent Q4 system is now available in Europe on the 1.9JTD Crosswagon and they did say their intention was to expand it to high performance models sometime in the future....

Italiaspeed has the latest info

www.italiaspeed.com/newsite/futuremodels.htm

As Rick syas, though, its all really speculation and subject to change at short notice.

I'm not sure, but I believe that is the whole reason that Auto Delta in London has developed a supercharged version of the 3.7litre GTA screamer!!!Speculation puts output at 400/450BHP! That would definitely need 4wd!

I just read in this months Auto Italia that Luca di Montezemolo has ruled out Alfa using Masers V8, and that is why Alfa, and tuners are now developing the V6 powerplants.

Why do they bother? My GTA couldn't put down 250bhp without stuttering, juddering, torque steering.
