Thanks Don, much appreciated. Im actually hoping to visit Bath on Thursday, so ill give them a call and see if they have one in stock.

BTW, I think that photo could scare animals and young children

They're not getting them in for a week or so, I ordered one about a week ago and were told they weren't in stock but would I like to keep my order with them.

Don't know if they're in yet, can't hurt to have a peep.

I, err... got mine off a UK ebayer and paid £15 ...

I'd say eBay is your best bet.

If you have a Palm PDA, I can point you to a tool that will allow you to use your Palm's IR port as a remote release for the D70.

Also, in the mean time remember that you can set the timer delay to three seconds, which is a tolerable wait compared to ten!

He used a rare setting that fires the shutter 3 secs before you actually press the button

I rang Jessops yesterday and was told that they had a huge list of back orders and that they were really difficult to get hold of - so I rang another camera shop in town and luckily they had one in stock. £14.90.

My use for it was taking shots of an elusive Robin - I prefocussed on the coconut shell thats hanging in my tree, set it to manual focus and set the exposure controls manually. I then sat in the warmth of the conservatory until the Robin came along. Sadly, in the 5 minutes that I waited, the light changed, so all my shots are underexposed! LOL

got mine off ebay, paid £17 with postage... GRRR but saying that, I found none in the listings and after emailing 5 Nikon camera kit sellers, only one got back to me saying they actually had them in stock.

It works well and comes with a nice case that goes on the camera strap. Pretty happy

Picked one up in Jessops just before Christmas was really surprised they had one in - their web site doesn't (or didn't) show them. They were going on e-bay for upto £20, paid £14.95 from Jessops. They're small aren't they ?
