I have just had Austec work their magic on my 430 BV - emerald ecu

results are 270 BHP and 360 torque

To me the figure sound encouraging - is the general feeling in TVR land in agreement

Nice figures if they are right. The torque figure does seem a bit on the high side.

My old 4.3 Gave about the same bhp but only around 280 torque.

Agree with the above.

BHP very good, torque impossible imho.

My 500 engine was re-built recently by JE Engineering and when on the bench was producing 310 BHP and 350 lbs/ft of torque. Not too shabby for a 19 year old girl!

my standard 4.3 was about 280bhp & 300lbs/torque now running MBE about 300bhp/torque crica 310........ Austec always thought my car was a BV even without rr results as felt very rapid feeling.... and been asked what is under the bonnet by some BV owners as well
