Carrera GT at RSJ

Nice to see the independents getting in on the action by flogging the ultimate Porsche. For once, Joel would be justified in using upper case

Now. Will be seeing the Red Baron at any PCGB days this year....? I've booked on to Silverstone...

Ha ha ha, If the Red Baron gets booked into Silverstone then I'll kick the moths out of my wallet and pay the exorbitant cost for a full day myself
LOL, yes, it won't be seeing much action and if it does it won't be owned by me. It is going to be sold to pay for the Ultima engine and a few other bits. The Ultima engine in mind costs as much as a 968CS and has an output that would be like a 9M Motec +47 on a 964RS. This is even further away from running than the Baron, so I won't get too carried away. Progress IS being made tho'. Extensive chassis work is currently underway, including engine and box pre-fit (ready for 2013 when I eventually fit it
)Is that 993 GT2 not the same one that was for sale at Camtune a couple of months back, but now with a substantial premium. Black with blue seatbelts, can't be too many of those around.
If it is then its taken a similar path as that red one for sale last year. £90k at one dealer then £125k at another 2 months later.
Surely anyone looking for a 993 GT2, in both cases, would have been aware that the car was significantly cheaper previously and not be willing to pay the premium?
Or when you have that much money to spend is that not an issue?

Interestingly the reshelled rhd car that was at camtune is said to have been originally blue .............so blue seatbelts????? However man who bought, it besotted with GT2 s and had been looking some time so surprised if he is selling it........
according to Camtune they added the blue belts for the person who bought it from them
It actually had full harnesses (blue) fitted a few months ago to match the blue seatbelts. The current owner had fantasized about owning a gt2 for ages but now that he's owned it and ticked it off his list he doesnt feel the need to keep it.He buys cars but doesnt actually drive them.We dealt with him on 6 porsches last year.He has had dozens over the years.
