led cree H1 6000 lumen fitted
Discussion
Ok 6000 lumen H1 cree bulbs fitted. Must admit was a bit fiddly getting them to fit and had to dremel aperture by 1mm so bulbs would pass into headlught light. Spread seems to be about the same. Used existing rubber housing rather than one suppied with the kit as it was needed to hold the bulb in place otherwise it would just rattle about. Good news is if they fail I can swap back to originals. Left bulbs on for 90 mins and while hot nothing seemed of concern. Plenty of ventilation around headligh pod so hopefully all will be ok.

Did the Cree units have a fan on them?
Also do you have the ref for them ? Only ask because there seem to be a lot out there that are much longer then a standard incandescent and you seemed to have got a very good beam spread from the photo.
