We've had our evoque since Sept from new and have a number of very annoying interior trim rattles, most from around the centre console and one from the rear somewhere. Been back to LR twice but each time they either come back elsewhere or aren't fixed. Should we have to accept them on a 45k car?
Or friends Citroën ds4 is quiet as a mouse in comparison.
How common are rattles on the evoque? If LR can't sort is there anything we can do or just take it as is?

No harm in asking them to take a look and try to rectify it, what I'd give for a rattle free ride (probably £45,000 actually wink )

My Disco 2 has a plethora of squeaks and noises from inside hehe Still love her though.

Its not like the TVR Zip - it shouldn't rattle. Keep taking back 'till your happy. Mines been back a couple of times, looking at some of the comments on the 'Evoque owners' forums its more common than you would think.

According to the Evoque forum when I had mine 63 plate it was a common problem, but in saying that mine was rattle and squeak free.

Mrs Get is on her second and has had no problems with either, so I'd get back to them.

Very good, just thinking my Touareg doesn't squeak or rattle and you post that old classic.

Thanks all, in the grand scheme of things rattles are very minor but god they're annoying. Back to the dealer she will go then.

This was the last dash rattle I rectified on an Evoque. Well, two to be precise. One was easy to locate, as screw was just spinning around holding two plastic sections together, so wasn't getting tight. The other involved dropping the column to gain access to correctly route a piece of plastic wiring guide. Lovely job!

If you're lucky you'll end up with someone like me who enjoys this type of work. Or, you'll just end up with more rattles wink

Good luck!
