Is it difficult to change the boot strut or is it a garage job?

Any idea on cost or tips to do it at home?

Thx Tony

Top half is really easy to access. Bottom half is far more difficult, if I remember correctly the fuel tank gets in the way of the lower acces bolt. This may be able to be moved by either loosening the tank or its cradle to provide wiggle room. I think the boot strut must have been added first at the factory! From what I can think of though it's not a easy job to do though. I'm sure others will be along soon with more in depth information.

Two bolts, couldn't be easier, except bottom one might be a bit awkward to access wink

SGS engineering are the people to talk to, does this help ?

Thx Mike, saw this when searching for them but unfortunately they show you how to change a focus strut.

Never mind, its booked in on Wednesday for it to be replaced at XWorks. At least i know it will be done properly and i will not have the worrry of my handywork messing the car up biglaugh
