Recommended Garage for VW Service & MOT in York?

Grateful for any recommendations of where to get my Golf GTD serviced and MOT'd in York. Worth simply taking it to the main dealer?

Colin Hick off Bootham is a VW specialist although I haven't been there in a number of years.

I've used Faber just off Layerthorpe for general Corrado stuff in the past.

Some of the tech guys at JCT600 have been very helpful before, so you might be ok there tbh.

Big vote for Steven (Greenways), thoroughly nice chap, makes great tea and has stunning cars to ogle.

I wouldn't touch JCT with someone else's barge pole, bunch of lying useless sts, and ridiculously expensive.
