Advice on applying for a job with IBM
Discussion
I work in a very niche sector of IT and I am aware that IBM recently won a large UK contract in this sector.
I would like to see if there are any opportunities on this project, but other than applying blindly through the IBM careers web site, where it may not get further than someone's inbox, does any know a way to seek out opportunities within IBM?

Career website is the best/only real place, do you know what business unit the IBM work falls under? I worked for IBM at a reasonably senior level up until the start of 2014 and have still quite a few contacts, particularly in GTS, but a few in GBS and SWG.I would like to see if there are any opportunities on this project, but other than applying blindly through the IBM careers web site, where it may not get further than someone's inbox, does any know a way to seek out opportunities within IBM?
Be aware IBM are in the process of a large transition, and have made ~25% of the workforce redundant since the start of the year. I personally would probably look at other opportunities, given I've been on the inside, very political, at least until the dust has settled. Feel free to PM me if you want to chat
Cheers
