Heat Shield/Reflective Sheet

I currently have a car under restoration and found this product as a potential replacement to the standard aluminium faced fibreglass heat shielding normally found within the engine bay and wondered if anyone had any in use experience?

It's a gold faced sheet product which can be bonded or mechanically fixed to the bulkhead.

I'm looking at it from a performance perspective, not for its bling bling qualities

Zircotec's equivalent product seems to have better specs.

I haven't used either, just resorted to the cheapest stuff I could find on eBay.

I'd be interested to see what products are suggested and the ways of fixing them. For a different car - a Caterham, but my passenger foot well which looks lovely in its new black powder coat, also heats up dramatically by the exhaust. Bare feet take a disliking!
