Name wrongly on 'Insurance claim database'
Discussion
'bit of a weird one today.
Went to renew my insurance policy and as they were verifying my details I was told that 3 insurance claims matching my name and address were on the database. One in December 2010, one in June 2012 and one in December 2012.
The thing is I've only been living at this address for a year. I knew the people who lived prior and they did not share my surname!
I've never had to make a claim nor had an accident!
Has someone stolen my identity? Is there a way I could/should look into this further..? Just seems really, really strange. I told the insurance company this was a load of BS which they instantly accepted and went through with my policy regardless..

I'd guess they're referring to something on CUE ... Claims and Underwriting Exchange which for a tenner you can get 'your' records.
