offspring took his Tissot in for a new battery under warranty, stopped about 2 weeks before the end of the 2 year warranty period expired & dropped it off at the shop I bought it at 1 week before the warranty end date. He picked it up today & was charged £55 as by the time the shop had sent it away to have the battery replaced it was 3 days over the warranty date.
Is charging that justified? or is shop taking the micheal chaging for it?

Warranty is for manufacturing defects not a battery running out of power.

Should have all been confirmed prior to getting the job done , too late now to be moaning over costs.
