I suspect in this day and age Transported. The day's of the cars travelling the "Route du Man's" has long since passed. Also a speed hump in L'homme would halt these cars progress.

Did someone not drive one to the circuit from Hotel de France last year on Thursday morning? Not a competing car iirc.

edit, just found the thread, 3 Porsche 962's were the plan but never saw any photo's of it so not sure it happened.

Pretty sure an Audi LMP did some escorted driving on the road last year or the year before, to or from the circuit. Not sure if this was from the HdF or elsewhere.

The Audi drove from the scrutineering session in LM City Centre.

Can confirm the 962 and the Sir John Whitmore GT40 were driven from the Hotel last year also the 2015 Astons were Driven away from the Hotel on Monday Morning.

Every year a car is driven from scrutineering to the circuit. Here's last year as it arrives from the town centre on the road behind the Salon des Expositions.

Oh, I didn't realise it was an annual thing. Only seen footage of the audi doing it.

There is now a vid posted on the Hotel de France FB page of the event. Apparently filming took 4hrs. Also uses footage taken from 1959 by John Tate.
