Will be sold on, no doubt. What did coppers say? No prints?

Sorry to hear that fella. As a Canon user myself, I can't imagine the feeling if some scrote nicked it all. Keep an eye out in the usual places just in case - ebay etc. Any regular boot sales near you, as you never know?

Keep my fingers crossed for you.

No prints, they were wearing cotton gloves apparently. From what we can tell they took both of my good watches, three of my wife's rings and a necklace and then a crapload of Canon gear.

They left any jewelry that wasn't gold apart from my Tag watch. I'm guessing that they've just taken a chance on the camera gear as they stole my cheap flash triggers but left my two flashes. They definitely found the flashes as the soft pouch for one of them was opened.

They left the ipod, ipad, surface pro, laptop etc etc that was all out on the table/sofa and easy to take.

I'll be making the insurance phonecalls later. I took out camera insurance just 5 weeks ago before I shot a wedding and went off the Spa for the WEC round. I can't tell you how 'potentially' relieved I feel about that. If nothing else, I would have the serial numbers written down unless the insurers had asked me.

David, where roughly are you? I'm also a KT6 resident, pm if you like.

Sorry to hear that, I've not heard of much crime in the area, but certainly this has prompted me to think a bit more about my security...!

Not sure if it's too late but sign up for LensTag: https://www.lenstag.com/ (and download the extension)

Once you've logged the serial numbers you can mark them as stolen. Then if any other LensTag user views an image taken with your kit post-theft it'll recognise the serial numbers automatically and send you an alert so you can contact the relevant authorities.

Worth a shot at the very least...

For future peace of mind, these KickStop products could help.

First bit of good new came today. My camera insurance claim has been approved. Just agreeing alternative retailers to get certain bits from to prevent coming out under insured and £800 short.
