Porsche 944 rear rubber spoiler removal

HI Folks,
I wish to replace the rubber seal that sits below the rear rubber spoiler on my 1989 2.7 Lux. I have the rubber seal and thought it would be as simple as removing
the screws that secure the spoiler and fitting the replacement seal. Unfortunately the screws have seized onto the captive nuts inside the spoiler. Does anyone know how to loosen these screws without either shearing them or dislodging the nuts inside the spoiler. I have been told that soaking the screws is not advised as it softens the foam inside the spoiler. The spoiler is in excellent condition otherwise and i would be grateful for any suggestions that would help me loosen off these screws.

You may need to either reconsider your plan, or else (if practicable) accept that you will have to rip the spoiler off by rotating the screws until the captive nuts release the spoiler, then rebuilding the captive nut setup using some epoxy or other suitable adhesive and perhaps some creative engineering. All doable of course but certainly a lot of your time involved.
If you are lucky the captive nuts are secured to a metal strip the width of the spoiler and the bolts will shear off first, that way the spoiler comes off, then you can grind off, drill, and remove the rusted bolts from the nuts followed by a thread cleanup with a tap.

Thank you for the replies guys, much appreciated. A job that i thought would be so simple has turned into an expensive and time consuming problem. I found a dealer ( Jim Ellis Porsche ) in America who claims that they can supply a new replacement spoiler ( $700 + Delivery ) sourced from Germany. I may try and see if i can source one from Germany myself and hopefully save some money.
