MGB Interior trim (mainly Vinyl) cleaning?

Cleaning up the black and white interior trims for my GT. I made a start on things like the A post trims last night with a bit of APC (All Purpose Cleaner) and a toothbrush and they have come up not too bad, but I plan to give them a wipe over with back to black or similar in the case of the black ones but I was looking for some tips.

1. Some of the trims have marks of what looks like overspray or similar on them, any tips on cleaning them off?
2. The white trims (mainly sunvisors and roof trim) don't really seem to be cleanin up much with the toothbrush and APC treatment. What products out there could freshen them up? is there any sort of flexible paint/dye or any other decent cleaners?

I had some PVC trim in and A7 which was very grubby and had spots of paint on them. I used Jiff and the White Sprits on the paint spots, then went over all the PVC with Auto Glym cleaner polisher for plastic, made the seats a bit slippy but ok now. Would test in a small hidden area.

I would try Autosmart Tardis for the overspray. Careful though, it is strong stuff and smells it.
I would try using a magic eraser type sponge for a more gentle going over.
I would use A small amount of Chemical Guys new look trim gel for final finish. Designed for tyres, black trim etc but good on vinyl too.

Interior trim for MGs is so cheap if it's tired you are better off replacing it if your aiming for a nice interior, the vinyl seats tend to wear and lose their grain nothing brings it back and when you fit new seat covers you realise how bad the old ones were, ditto trim panels. The carpets are usually pretty threadbare and again cheap but don't fit the really cheap carpets they are pretty nasty.

That said if it's a user then a good going over with a soft scouring pad and fairy liquid gets most problems out, if the over spray is celly it will come off too, if it's 2 pack it's on there for good.

You would be mad to consider reprinting the trim though for the above reasons.
