964 child car seat
Discussion
When I was looking there were very few seats that fit due to how narrow the rear seats are. I was using a Concorde Ultimax in mine, however the only way I could secure it was to use the belt socket from the seat on the other side, which isn't ideal. There have a been a few threads on Rennlist that you could dig out and I was also advised to try a Maxi Cosi Rodi, although I haven't got round to this yet.

Choices are limited for the 964 and 993 in my experience.
I couldn't get a 'modern' seat to fit so bought seat that was originally supplied when the cars were new, off the top off my head it was a Romer Prince I think.
It isn't as good as a proper seat but was okay for occasional use, as it and the child are held in by the seat belt. It also meant I had to fit a longer rear belt (genuine Porsche part).
I have Maxi Cosi Rodi seats in my other car and they wouldn't fit.

I bought a genuine Porsche seat for the 993 from Porsche in Reading. Fitted using the standard seat belt and never any complaints from my kids. It was pretty basic with a back, base and over knee pad but worked. Best bet would be to look for an original item if you can find one.
That sounds like the one I have.Gassing Station | Porsche Classics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
