Lovely girl works in our office. (bit dippy)

Followed me to Legends today in her nice new Ka.

Foglights on all the way. When we arrive I informed her that she should not go to Preston cos Dibble will nick her for the foglights. She informed me that they were spotlights (doh) and the foglights were in the headlight unit (double doh). I tell her the regs for lights at the front and she giggles (doh) then says welll they make the car look pretty

Then

She says but u were speeding

then

She ordered the vegetarian meal

Crap Britain its finished over done with abandon it to the numpties.

So the official police line in your force is the use of foglights when its not foggy is strictly penalised unless the offender has a nice arse and a fair pair of nellies?

Seems reasonable I have heard worse.

Ask a fog light abuser to find where in their vehicle's handbook does it say 'spotlights' or 'driving lights'..

There will be clear indications as to what these warning lights mean;

Lol Oh I did mate. She got all shirty and was convinced she was correct until the handbook indicated she was wrong. Now I am just a bastard smart arse bloke and speeding is much worse than having pretty lights on anyway and If I say any more she is gonna cry and throw a tantrum.

I give up

In Blairs Britain being correct is not important so long as the furry wickle hanimals are not harmed and nobody shouts at anyone.

Excellent term

BTW last January 4% of drivers coming the other way were ....fog light abusers !

This year its gone up to 7%

......counting them is exercise to keep from going to sleep on mindnumbing night journeys at, or often a lot below, the ( often recently reduced ) speed limits on A-roads

Vegetarian!!!!!! What did you expect???

She needs some meat.

With all those carrots she should be able to see in the bloody dark without lights never mind needing FOGLIGHTS on in daylight.

The clue is in the word "FOG". If it aint foggy DONT BLOODY USE THEM YOU MUPPET.

If somebody is behind me with their front fogs on I reason that it must be foggy... so I put my rear fogs on.

Everybody should start doing this then they muppets might get the message.

I owned a seicento sporting fitted with front foglights and when the dealer drove it round to the forecourt he had them switched on - I said turn them off you nob, he replied "but it makes the car look better"

I had the car 3 years and used them in fog once. they made vision worse if anything, I certainly can't see the point of them..... and it really boils my piss when I see other nobs prancing about with their sidelights and fogs on - muppets!

In a real pea souper I would imagine fogs and sides would give you better vision. Mind you, I haven't seen the sort of fog that would require that for about 30 years.
