TVR Thunder - British and Loud

The TVRCC national gathering this year will be called TVR Thunder - British and Loud and will take place at Rockingham 5/6/7 August. We welcome members' feedback in the discussion forums. We know that not all of the details are finalised but we hope to have enough here to wet your appetite.

Shame .... same weekend as the World Superbikes at Brands Hatch ... so that's at least 3 owners I know who would have come otherwise ... we'll be in Kent for all days....

A great venue IMHO with a good motor-racing atmosphere.
I hope the weather is good, as that infield track gets v.slippy in the wet.

I've got more posts to read and I've got to get off to the dreaded work, in the cold I might add. My fingers certainly will be paralysed after about ten minutes out there.

Looks good fun, hopefully I'll be able to arrange to make it this year, especially the track day - shame we couldn't have the whole banked circuit to play with for a while, that would really be something Mind you a few laps of that at full whack would go straight through a set of tyres I'd reckon!

Seriously, if there were no limits to the amount of track-time, I'm sure the TVRCC Challenge, Sprint Championship and all other racing TVRs would have been mentioned in the article.

It would be a bit bit of a laugh. Unfortunately, apperntly even people with racing licenses have to do a further test before they can do oval racing.
