Anyone else having this problem, it's driving me crazy.

Browsing the car ads (vantage coupes if it makes a difference), and one of the ads is popping up and somehow redirecting me to the App Store. It's always a gambling related thing. And then you can't get back as it reloads when you move back to Safari, which then fires up another ad and sends me back to the AppStore.

Tried 4 times now, auto trader is calling me. Can it be fixed please??

Ta.

I've stopped using the classifieds due to the ads, the last time I used the site the advert from We Buy Any Car was so all encompassing (massive header and down both sides of the page) that it might as well have been WBAC's own website. It auto-scrolled too and that really upset my iPad.

Bought my last two cars from Autotrader instead, you know it's gone wrong when you prefer that site.

I'm on an iPad and it's ok for me!

A banner at the top and a couple other ads dotted about, nothing too intrusive ..

Ah, just remembered I must be running an ad blocker cos I can't see the ads on the forums. So, why can I still see the ads in the classifieds? Strange.

FFS! It's still doing it. Jumping me straight into the AppStore all the time and can't get back without closing safari and then performing some rapid finger movement to delete the offending page before it opens again.

Had enough. No more classifieds for me now. Sorry PH but it's just getting worse with every change rather than better frown

And whilst I'm ranting I had to change to full size forums because the mobile site doesn't let you fking log in.

If I'd have put this ste into production for customer use id have been sacked by now I'm sure.

It's obviously a dodgy as - has happened before a few times.

They'll need to know which app it's directing you to in order to find the ad and disable it.

They fixed exactly this problem with ads in the past - eg http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Looking at that thread, it didn't appear the fix worked!
