Does anyone know if this is possible at places like Lepsoms

You mean a different colour inside? Yes - but I don't know what they would charge.
I will go and see them tomorrow, perhaps to get the best effect they will need to be diamond cut on the inside
h to keep clean, or if you have the cutting lacquered then water always seems to get underneath it, and make it fog (and look bad). Stick with painting them. When I had the Monaro and had lepsoms do the refurb I asked them to diamond cut the spoke faces, they too said that they could not guarantee the work for the same reason you mentioned, I did still go ahead with the cutting and they lasted 4 years and Steve had them done in Anthracite a few months ago, I also need to bear in mind that the inside face would be more prone to chips than the fronts, wonder if you could have them clear wrapped on the inside when finished to avoid chips?

To get a better finish, I have found surface prep like diamond cutting helps bring out the shine in the anodizing, just remember that all metals react differently to anodizing

They could do it but the inside would need to be a solid colour, but I don't want that effect, I want the inner part of the wheel diamond cut and a colour lacquer added, I will give spit and polish a visit tomorrow

that surprises me Mick, if they wont do it that means its not a goo idea, probably to do with where the paint line joins

nice, I didn't realise you wanted Diamond Cut in inner edge, that might be why as their tooling is for diamond cutting faces not inner rimsgoodluck

I may have to use a local machining company I know to do the inners and give the spraying a go myselfgoodluck

yes, thought that, a good machining / engineering firm should be able to the inner as you want then take to lepsoms to paint the face and spokes
I was unsure if to get the whole wheels powder coated black then have the inner cut ? When had Lepsoms do my old monaro they coated black then cut the fronts of the spokes then lacqueredhttp://www.pistonheads.com/GASSING/topic.asp?h=27&...
