Merino tshirts - casual and NOT £££££££!

Firstly I am aware that merino is not a ubermaterial invented for cyclists, by cyclists......

I was given a Rapha merino t-shirt last year, and was really surprised how much I liked it, was especially good for active days where I didn't have room to pack spare clothes but knew I was going to be rushing about on the bike in variable weather conditions.

So is there anywhere that sells casual merino kit, t-shirts, jumpers etc but not at designer prices? Even with the current rapha sale £40 for a fragile tshirt is a too much....

Decathlon techwool works well in my experience. Lots of styles.

Finisterre do some nice stuff but it is expensive at full price, fortunately they quite often have sales on. I think I have a refferal code somewhere that gets both parties some money off too.

Not tried the T-shirts, but have got some Merino socks that are very good for hiking and winter cycling duty

Arcteryx makes some nice stuff but £40 seems to be the going rate for there merino/composite. Smartwool also another one too consider.

If your a large or small then these guys on Amazon have a smartwool/100% merino t shirt for £20 but does have their logo on the front but not that offensive.

Also check Howies. I just go an email about their sale and they do good quality stuff that's very discreetly branded.
