I had a run to the Laon Historique at the weekend in the Mustang and thought it would be very rude not to visit the GP circuit at Reims while in the area. If you havnt been it is well worth a visit, very atmospheric.

I am off to Lake Garda in 4 weeks in the 147 GTA and will be stopping again to get some pics of the Alfa.

Anyway, here's a few pics of the Mustang.

A few classic Jags arrived while we were there.

I went along with a friend in an identical Mustang 390 fastback.

Thanks guys, it really is a fantastic place to visit for any petrolhead. We did just over 1000 miles over the trip, which is very hard work in a big block muscle car with no creature comforts. The journey home was around 400 miles on Monday, I'm just geting over it now!

The Mustang was faultless until fuelling up in Dover for the homebound leg when the ignition switch failed. Lucky it wasnt on the ferry as it would have a nightmare. A quick hotwire and she got me home, oh the joys of classic motoring!
