was there an AMG GT/S on display?
Nope there was not. in the AMG bit there wasn't a C63 either. There were two models from the 4cyl turbo AMG range though. A45 and CLS (could have been a CLA excuse if wrong). looked very nice but i thought was quite small and was pretty costly i think nearly 50 grand looked like a saloon version of Audi A3 size wise.Daft question...why take pics inside a car show room that is essentially free to visit and more importantly...
HAS f
kING BROOKLANDS NEXT DOOR FULL OF VASTLY MORE INTERESTING MACHINES??!!!!
Seriously, you went to Brooklands/MB World and you think taking a cpl of pics of the worlds s
ttest "super car" the CLK GTR and an E class estate are interesting??
You had Senna Maccas to go look round. You had banking. You had Barnes Wallis office. You had wind tunnels. You had a f
king Concorde!
OP, you should be disqualified from the human race on the grounds that frankly, you are no better than an accountant.

Thanks for posting these. They're a reminder that MB World is a great place to drop in for a while. I know it is all a soft sell, but I still think it is a remarkable contribution to motoring fun by the world's oldest manufacturer. And to be at Brooklands, the home of motor racing in Great Britain and the site of an altogether different museum adds to that fun. I was made up when MB World displayed my poxy estate car for a weekend in the centre of the hall.

I was there a couple of weeks ago and stayed in the hotel next door. I spent a day at Brooklands, and a couple of hours in MB World - both are well worth a visit, and I'd echo the comment about having a coffee outside while watching the AMG's do their thing. I was lucky and had an SLS blasting round the track while I was there, which sounded fabulous - also saw an SLR go past while I was in the hotel.
