Been approached lately to organise a local meet, so have been in touch with the Landlord at the same venue as last year.

1pm meet

This pub is on the A19 just off the M62, so is easy to get to and there is a large car park with overspill onto the grassed area to the front.
Who's coming?

On the proviso that I have hit targets at work and the weather is ok, I'll be there.

1100 mile round trip so am tempted.
Let's see if:
1) I can get out of hospital
2) Get the car going (It's been 4 months)
3) Pass the MOT
4) Press the accelerator

Thanks for the invite, tho'.

Hi jhonno

It was a full body off, I do have a thread on here but iv not updates it for months I have around 20 photos to upload, I just need to work out how to upload them on here.

I am not a TVR expert or anything, bought the car more or less on impulse but I good with my hand and want to do a proper job of down to the last bolt.

Jon

Would love to join you but I'll be on my way back from the TVR NL Car Club event at Zolder (there is a separate Zolder forum on PH for those interested).

In a bid to get more TVRs there for this meet I have just posted it on the "TVR meets and Events" here on Pistonheads.
Lets hope we get better weather than today!

Nice one organising it Dave - but I'm jinxed again.

Made last year's in the Puma cos slave had gone on the Cerb. Can't make this one cos work's getting in the way.

Nice bit of Wild Oyster there Jonbouy. If I can get mine alongside it someday it'd make a canny pic.

Oh yes, but I have made my mind up if the engine is not ready by end of Sept its going away to get done, I went to start cleaning the heads for the last time this morning only to find someone has mixed up the washers on the head bolts and cause some of them to be damaged I will get some new ones made this week. as once quoted " easy to work on these engines" Baffoons , see you at the meet tho

Steve , was it yourself who bought the light blue cerb from a bloke in Kent ? I could be wrong but I recognise your name from around the time he was trying to sell it, I only ask as I almost bought it but you beat me to it.
I know it had engine problems, is this the one you're rebuilding?
